Cuti sekolah amat dinanti.....selesai final exam, buku teks pun dah dipulangkan sementara buku teks untuk tahun depan pun telah dterima....maka bermulalah erti kemerdekaan bagi Syahmi...Merdeka dari rutin seorang pelajar aje....aspek kehidupan yang lain tetap seperti biasa.
Kebetulan ayah pun mengambil cuti panjang pada hujung-hujung tahun ni. Aktiviti Syahmi tentunya berkisar tentang internet dimana anak ini akan mengadap laptop selama mungkin. Inilah tugas ayah dalam masa cuti beliau untuk menjadi 'pengawas' kepada aktiviti Syahmi.
Mungkin dengan ibu Syahmi boleh banyak 'songhel'....tapi dengan ketegasan ayah.....sorry Syahmi, anda mesti menurut peratuan-peraturan tertentu demi masa depan kamu. Mandi kena on time....main komputer kena ikut masa...dan berbagai peraturan yang membuat Syahmi 'boring' katanya.
Melayari internet tentunya berkisar pada topic yang diminati, cerita-cerita tentang astronaut dan angkasalepas...Penat mengadap laptop aktiviti bertukar kepada melukis...Namun segalanya banyak berkisar tentang alam angkasalepas.
Balik kampung adalah fenomena biasa bagi kami sekeluarga sebab ayah telah 18 tahun di Kuala Terengganu bekerja mencari rezeki.....Malahan Syahmi juga dilahirkan di sini dan memegang title "anak Terengganu" bumi bertuah dengan limpahan minyaknya....
Sedangkan hakikatnya kami berasal dari Bandar Diraja Kuala Kangsar, Perak Darul Ridzuan yang terletak kira-kira 350km dari Kuala Terengganu. Jauh tu jaraknya kalau memandu....lenguh badan dibuatnya sebab perjalanan yang mengambil masa kira-kira 6 jam tanpa henti.
Raya Qurban baru-baru ni iaitu pada Oktober 2011 yang lalu....kami telah kembali ke kampung dengan gembiranya...Seperti biasanya Tok dan Opah akan menyediakan lemang untuk menjadi juadah utama di pagi raya bagi tetamu yang datang.....Lemang memang enak dimakan....tapi harus diingat bahawa proses untuk menghasilkannya amat merumitkan. Hanya golongan veteran saja yang masih mempunyai skill yang baik untuk mendapatkan lemang yang betul-betul sedap....
Crying is a physiological process in the life of a baby.All normal babies cry to communicate with others.Sine they can't express their feelings in words crying is the only way for communication. If any uncomfortable feeling comes they simply cry.Normally babies cry in situations like hunger,wetting,too heat or cold,tight cloaths,pain ect. Some kids need the presence of somebody otherwise will cry simply.Crying without any cause is habitual in some babies. Eventhough crying is considered as normal it may worry the family members.Since the reasons for crying ranges from simple causes to serious causes it should not be ignored and hence exact cause has to be identified and managed accordingly.

Final exam Syahmi tahun ni, nampaknya peratusan keputusan keseluruhan ialah 83.83% dimana dari 5 subject teras anak ini memperolehi 4A dan 1B. Kedudukan Syahmi dalam kelas ialah di tempat yang ke 9 dari 35 murid. Anak ini amat cemerlang dalam matapelajaran Science dan English Language.

Persaingan amat sengit, tambahan pula Syahmi berada di dalam kelas arus perdana dimana teman-temannya adalah terdiri dari anak-anak normal. Alhamdulillah....Syahmi telah menunjukkan prestasi yang tidak kurang hebatnya jika dibanding dengan teman-teman sekelas.
